"In Samsung terms...HDR 1000 is a marketing term Samsung has created for their SUHD TVs. It means they are all HDR capable and are able to reach a minimum of 1000 Nits peak brightness. HDR Premium TVs are able to read the HDR signal and display it properly on the screen, but cannot reach 1000 Nits peak brightness. The higher peak brightness, the better HDR content will look."
I don't know what you mean by HDR1000 but this should help you.

Although technically better on paper, "Dolby Vision" is the proprietary HDR technology made by LG and is only used in LG HDTV's. LG charges a licensing fee to use it. "HDR10" is free and is used by most all other HDTV manufacturers and will, most likely, become the standard. So, from what I've read on the matter, the PS4 Pro will need to be used in conjunction with an HDTV that utilizes HDR10.

Sony isn't competing against Scorpio with the PS4 Pro. It's competing against the Xbox One S. The Scorpio isn't coming out for another year and is basically the next generation Xbox. Console generations are getting shorter and my money is on Sony releasing the PS5 shortly after Scorpios release. No longer than a year after for sure. And that will be its competitor, not the PS4 Pro. This move, for all intents and purposes, assures that multi platform games will look and run better ...
Um, because it's the truth? Microsoft already released its version of a better Xbox1. The Scorpio is obviously the next generation Xbox. Why on earth would Microsoft release two versions of the X1, both more powerful than the last?

No offense, but he lost all credibility when he said he never played the original.
I LOVED this game. But, when it started getting a little monotonous, I started doing the item glitch for unlimited fast money. Now that they've patched it, I've stopped playing. It was the one thing keeping it interesting for me. There's only so many similar planets you can explore before it gets repetitive. Being able to shop around and buying the most expensive ships was keeping me occupied..

How is my post not logical? I know that Slims are released more to provide a cheaper console than to provide additional features. Which is why I say that it doesn't make sense for Microsoft to release the Xbox One S then turn right around and release the Scorpio. The X1s and Scorpio both have new features. Whereas the PS4 slim doesn't, only the Neo.
Why would anyone in their right mind go out and spend money on the X1s knowing that th...
It isn't so much that the PS4 slim is a steal as much as it is the Xbox One slim is pointless. I can understand a slimmer model PS4 with no upgrades. It should be a cheaper entry point for gamers. But what is the point of coming out with an upgraded model X1 when you're about to come out with an upgraded X1 called the Scorpio?
I don't know who this girl is. And honestly, I feel that's probably a good thing. I want it to stay that way.
This article was obviously written by a millennial.
That's a fair statement, although I don't agree with you. I love NMS. For me to be able to put in over 30 hours in a "boring" game, is excellent in my opinion. But, I can agree it's not for everyone.

You need to get out more.
I'm confused. Is the Xbox S the Xbox Scorpio? If not, why would anyone buy the Xbox S later this year? I think MS shot themselves in the foot, as far as sales goes for the next year.

If you think people are pissed now, wait until E3 when everyone finds out that it's a PS4 exclusive for the first 30 days because it's considered DLC and falls under Sony's exclusivity deal with Activision. Had they offered a physical version on disc, it wouldn't have been.
B-but but PC master race! Seriously though, this is why I'm a proud console gamer. The simple reason is because the developer will never be able to test their games on every single configuration out there. I'll take a little lower graphics on a game that actually works over one that doesn't, every day of the week.
